Three days and counting.  Boy, I’m nervous.  But yesterday I finished editing part one, which means I’ve gone in a complete circle.  Now I’ll finish polishing the chapters of part two that I deem need it.  The page count is back down to 735 after I took out a chapter; I felt that part one was taking too long to get to the punchline, so I pruned it.  The chapter didn’t make much sense anyway and didn’t serve much of a useful purpose except for filling up space, which I didn’t need, as I said.
