Sorry to have been gone so long!  But I’ve been so swamped with all that writing that I hardly have time for pause.  I’m two thousand words past the half-way mark, and I still have my writing for today.  The most I’ve ever written a day was 3,014 words and the least was 440.  But I had a legitimate excuse that day; it was my mother’s birthday and I was gone off to a cooking class almost all day.  Not to mention I had a couple of tests to finish that day.  So I think that I’m doing quite well, considering.  And you can not imagine what a joy it is to discover this character at last!  I have written many things with and about him at the end of the book, but this is when you just start getting to know him, and it’s an adventure and surprise to me as well.  Sometimes I trip up on how he should really be acting to the casual observer (I know him a bit too well), but then I always remind myself that I can take time to really consider and edit it later.  Right now, it’s time to write!
