I did it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I’m so excited!  51,694 words in twenty-six days!  Of course, I really had only 400 words or so to write today, but it turned out that I needs a complete rewrite of the previous two days; it did not make sense.  Had it not been the last day I would have let it go, but as it was it was the last day anyway and I could not bear to declare victory with those pages in such desperate need.  I did not need to scrap all of it, but definitely most of it.  But anyway, I did it!  However, the end was different than I thought; I had hoped to finish my novel, but instead it is only half finished.  I still have the other half to write.  Yeah, it’s a long book.  The good news is that it was the hard part, and now it should be much easier to finish.  So finish line, here I come!
